Habits… but how?
Everybody knows how important it is to take proper care of ourselves and to maintain good habits, but most of the people really don’t pay attention and slip to the old way of living quite easily. This year has shown us already that every single one of us should make themself the number one priority and keep their focus on living a better and fulfilling life.
So how can you build a habit that will stay? Here are some of our tips:
- 30 day challenge
Usually it is said that 3 to 4 weeks are enough for one habit to become automatic. Make it like a fun challenge and commit to it. You can invite a friend to do it together and be each other’s support. And this way you will wake up the competitiveness in you to keep you going.
- Do it every day
It’s really important for you to be persistent with the new habit you want to build. Even if it is for a couple of minutes – don’t skip a day. Every step of the process counts. You can think of it that way – I will do it for at least 2 minutes on a daily basis. And even if you think you are really busy – come on, everyone has 2 free minutes in the day. Instead of mindless scrolling in social media, do something good for yourself.
- Write your goal down
Something written has stronger power. Write not just what you want to achieve, but why you have started in the first place. Keep this piece of paper somewhere visible for you and remind yourself everyday why you committed to this.
- Dare to be imperfect
At the end of the day we are all just humans and we make mistakes. So even if you slip on the way, don’t be rude to yourself and just make a reminder again why you have started and continue with the work. We love the lyrics of Jessie J – “Nobody’s perfect, no, no, no, no…”
In conclusion we can way – define what you want to change in your life, make daily steps towards it, be kind to yourself and be consistent!
To kick off an amazing day that we are pursuing our goals, we start with a cup of ShroomzUp Brain Coffee and the daily mantra “Everything always works out for me in the most magical way!”
